A MESSAGE FROM MS. GILLIS AND MS. DOHERTY
Our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted by the events that took place in Boston on Monday. The events that took place tested every aspect of the MVMS emergency response plan. At the end of the day, the smiling faces on the students, teachers and chaperones as they exited the buses and the "talk" we shared with many relieved parents, served as evidence that the emergency response plan indeed worked successfully.
Our sincere thanks and gratitude go out to the many human resources who worked together on behalf of "our" students. These human resources include: seventh grade students, teachers, chaperones, bus drivers, Goffstown Police Department, Goffstown Fire Department, Charlestown Police Department, New England Aquarium Staff, Faneuil Hall Security, USS Constitution Staff, MVMS Administration and secretaries, Goffstown High School Administration, and SAU Administration.
The collective effort by all involved to work toward a common goal in a systematic and calm manner aided in our ability to maintain effective communication with the parents and family members awaiting the safe return of their child. Thank you.
Jennifer Gillis and Nicole Doherty

A Principal Search Committee (PSC) will be responsible for the selection process of the Mountain View Middle School Principal. The committee will cosist of the following people; Brian Balke, MaryClaire Barry, Kate Magrath, Reta Chaffee, Suzanne Tremblay, Wendy Lambert, Lauren Merritt, Muriel Orcutt, Christopher Belding, Andrew Pyszka, Kurt Poeltl, Melissa Romein, Scott Callander, Amy Jacob, Bryan Murphy, Nicole Doherty and Frank McBride.
VOLUNTEER FINGERPRINTING
If you would like to volunteer at MVMS or chaperone MVMS field trips, you must be fingerprinted. SAU #19 continues to host fingerprinting opportunities throughout the school year on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Volunteers do not need to make an appointment during these open times. You will need a photo identification and a check for $25.00 amount made payable to State of NH- Criminal Records (which per Goffstown policy can be reimbursed once you document 5 hours of volunteer time).
