Glen Lake School is currently receiving kindergarten registrations for the 2012-2013 school year.  All children who will be five years old by September 30, 2012 are eligible for entrance into kindergarten in September.

Kindergarten is a half-day program. The morning session runs from 8:45 to 11:15 am, and the afternoon session runs from 12:30 to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday following the Goffstown School District calendar. Parents will be able to indicate their preference for AM or PM session on the enrollment paperwork. If parent requests exceed session capacity, a lottery will be used to determine those students who will be placed in the session.

          

AM transportation to the school is available to kindergarten students via their neighborhood bus, which also transports 1st through 8th graders to their respective schools. There is no mid-day transportation provided by the school district.  However, for those parents needing extended care, several community daycare providers do offer transportation mid-day to and from their programs. PM students may take advantage of their neighborhood bus for transportation home at the end of the day.

          

If you have a child eligible for kindergarten, please call Glen Lake School at 497-3550 to begin the registration process.  Please be prepared with your child’s name, address, telephone number and date of birth. A packet of enrollment paperwork may then be picked up at the school or downloaded from the website.  Your child is enrolled only when all required paperwork has been returned to the school.

           

Several documents are necessary for enrollment.  These include: birth certificate, proof of residency and immunization records.  A physical examination is mandatory and must have taken place after September 1, 2011.
