The portal has opened to allow you sign up for a conference with your student's teacher on December 8th.  There will be no school for students that day.  Last year was our first year using online sign-ups and it was very well received by parents and guardians.  You will will find the "Parent Teacher Conferences" link on the right hand side of this page, under "Parent Information." Click there to get started!  If you aren't able to come to a conference at one of the available times you can contact your student's teacher by phone (497-3550) or by email to arrange another time or to arrange a phone conference.

As wintry weather approaches, this is just a reminder that when there is a delayed opening there will be no morning session.  On days when there is Early Release (like Wednesday 11/22) there will be no afternoon session.

Wishing you a delightful Thanksgiving with your little one!!

All the best,

Kindergarten is a half-day program. The morning session runs from 8:45 to 11:15 am, and the afternoon session runs from 12:30 to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday following the Goffstown School District calendar. Parents will be able to indicate their preference for AM or PM session on the enrollment paperwork. If parent requests exceed session capacity, a lottery will be used to determine those students who will be placed in the session.

AM transportation to the school is available to kindergarten students via their neighborhood bus. There is no mid-day transportation provided by the school district. However for those parents needing extended care, several community day-care providers do offer transportation mid-day to and from their programs. PM students may take advantage of their neighborhood bus for transportation home at the end of the day.

The Glen Lake School provides a learning environment that enables children to acquire cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skills that are the foundation for all future learning. Such an environment is based upon the following beliefs:

Volunteer Fingerprinting

FingerprintSAU #19 continues to host fingerprinting opportunities throughout the school year on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Volunteers do not need to make an appointment during these open times, just check in with the receptionist at the SAU office. You will need a photo identification and a personal check or money order for $20.75 made payable to State of NH - Criminal Records (which per-Goffstown policy can be reimbursed once you document five hours of volunteer time). Cash payment will no longer be accepted.
