The Information Center at MVMS is open from 7:45 am - 5:00 pm. In the morning, students need to get a pass from the duty teacher or the office. In the afternoon, students need to sign up in the office prior to the end of the day to use the Info Center and sign up for the late bus (if needed). Our before and after school hours are a great opportunity for students to access the resources that we have available, use our Makerspace, work on class projects and assignments. We also have quite of few computers for students to use for class projects and assignments.

The Information Center has a Moodle Blog. Please visit our blog for more up-to-date information about what is happening in the Information Center. Click here for the link to our blog.

Welcome to Our Makerspace! A place where we can learn, design, create, collaborate, make, and more! In our Makerspace, we have 4 rotating stations with 4 different activities. Each activity usually stays active for about 2 weeks, but there is always something new each week. For a current list of what is happening in our Makerspace, please check the PowerSchool Daily Bulletin or visit the Information Center Blog.

At MVMS we focus on teaching students how to successfully research information for their class assignments and projects. Here are 5 steps to take to be successful at researching.

  1. Use Databases to Search for Information
  2. Evaluate Websites
  3. Detect Fake News
  4. Cite Your Sources
  5. Avoid Plagiarism and Be Aware of Copyright Laws

Please click the read more button for resources to teach you how to use these 5 steps successful research.

At MVMS we have quite a few databases that students and staff can use for research. Below is a list of all of the databases available. For login information please stop by and we will give you the information that you need.

Volunteer Fingerprinting

FingerprintSAU #19 continues to host fingerprinting opportunities throughout the school year on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Volunteers do not need to make an appointment during these open times, just check in with the receptionist at the SAU office. You will need a photo identification and a personal check or money order for $20.75 made payable to State of NH - Criminal Records (which per-Goffstown policy can be reimbursed once you document five hours of volunteer time). Cash payment will no longer be accepted.
